Buckhead’s new public high school received national media attention one day before it officially opens.

The new North Atlanta High, which will open tomorrow morning, was the subject of an article in the New York Times newspaper. The article focused primarily on the school’s notorious cost. State Rep. Ed Lindsey, R-Atlanta, is quoted as being critical of the cost while APS officials pointed to the unexpected challenges of transforming the old IBM campus into a modern-day high school.
