DECATUR, GA (CBS ATLANTA, Reporter Newspapers broadcast partner) –
Attorneys for Andrea Sneiderman argued Tuesday that the prosecution failed to make a strong case to prove the 13 charges, including perjury, she is facing.
“Hemy said ‘I love you, marry me,’” Sneiderman’s attorney Doug Chalmers told the judge. “Andrea never said, ‘I love you.’ Honestly, we have no idea what feelings were returned.”
Sneiderman is accused of lying about an affair with her boss, Hemy Neuman, and obstructing the investigation after her husband was murdered in November of 2010. Neuman is serving life in prison for the killing outside a Dunwoody day care.
