People who own the newest iPhones know Siri as the knowledgeable and helpful voice of the world’s most popular smart phone.

What they may not know is that an actual person – a Sandy Springs resident – provided that voice.

CNN.com is reporting that Sandy Springs resident Susan Bennett is in fact the voice of Siri, but Apple will not officially confirm it.

CNN.com interviewed Bennett at length and reports that she began making the famous recordings in 2005.
