The Fulton County Registration & Elections office mailed out 24,000 voter registration cards to voters in the City of Atlanta and East Point after data errors were reported by residents.

The majority of voters who will receive cards are in precincts affected by redistricting, according to a statement released by the elections office. Specific Atlanta precincts that will receive cards include 02A, 02J, 08L, 09M, and 06Q. East Point precincts include EP01 and EP03. Cards for voters in Atlanta Precinct 06N will be mailed today, Oct. 29.

Some voters who will receive cards this week did not receive precinct cards last month due to data errors affecting their assigned precincts. A very small number of voters (fewer than 500) may have previously received cards that included errors, which will be corrected by their new cards. Other voters who received correct cards last month will receive duplicate cards with identical, correct information, because any precinct that was affected errors will receive cards in its entirety.
