A 28-yer-old man was shot and killed on a Sandy Springs sidewalk about 10 a.m. Nov. 15, police said.

Sandy Springs police identified the slain man as Freddie Antonio Rosales-Ruano, also known as Fredis Antonio Rosales. Rosales-Ruano’s body was found on the sidewalk in front of a small retail area in the 200 block of Northwood Drive, just south of Roswell Road and I-285, police said.

Police have charged Tranquilino Garcia-Lorenzo, 31, with the murder. Police described him as standing 5 feet tall and weighing 130 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark jacket with a white stripe around the sleeves, and a dark colored hat.
