Atlantic Station is having the ultimate all-day celebration with live music, arts, live reindeer, delicious winter treats, and activities the whole family can enjoy. Children’s activities will fill East and West District Streets from noon to 6 p.m. Special holiday performances take place throughout the day in Central Park. Centennial Olympic Park’s Holiday in Lights and Ice Rink
Centennial Park in Downtown will be turned into a festival of lights beginning Nov. 23 Stroll through the park or practice ice-skating spins and twirls at Atlanta’s only outdoor ice-skating rink, which will be open daily. The Work of Our Hands Artists’ Market
The 11th annual market is Nov. 22-24 at the Cathedral of St. Philip located at 2744 Peachtree Road in Buckhead. This acclaimed market features over 80 local and regional artists offering fine art, folk art, and crafts, including paintings, glass, fabric and wood art, pottery, jewelry, sculptures, and many other handmade and original gifts in a variety of price ranges. Admission to the market is free and open to the public. Steinbeck’s Annual Chili Cook-Off
Come hungry to Steinbeck’s in the Oakhurst neighborhood of Decatur on Nov. 23. You can taste chili from local residents and restaurants from noon until 4 p.m. Admission is $5 (kids are free) and there will also be live music. Steinbeck’s is at 659 East Lake Drive. steinbecksbar.com

Season of Magic at Piedmont Park
Horse-drawn carriage rides and the historic carousel in the elegantly lit park returns Nov. 24. The holiday activities will be staged on the Meadow, next to Park Tavern. The seasonal celebration continues through Jan. 5, with rides available every Thursday through Sunday. Park visitors are also welcome to stroll through the park and enjoy the festive lights and ornaments for free. Carriage rides are $25 for adults and $20 for children and carousel rides are $3 for all ages. Tickets for both can be purchased at piedmontpark.org.
