Atlanta Police announced this evening that they have arrested and charged a second person with the murder of Xavier Arnold on a Kirkwood bike path on Dec. 26. Qutravius Palmer, 22, turned himself into police earlier today. He is charged with felony murder and armed robbery and is currently being held in the DeKalb County Jail.

Arnold, 21, was shot in the head during an armed robbery and later died of his injuries. Arnold was an Army Reservist, student at the Savannah College of Art & Design and worked at Edgewood Corner Tavern. A friend of the victim was shot in the leg during the incident. Police already have a 14-year-old in custody, also charged with murder and armed robbery.
