We might be in the icy grip of winter, but the annual Atlanta Boat Show will put you in a summertime mood when it sails back into the Georgia World Congress Center Jan. 9 – 12. Presented by Progressive Insurance, the event showcases the largest variety of boats, watercraft and accessories in the Southeast.

Along with the boats will be special events, including the Swampmaster Gator Show with live gators rescued in Florida and handled by expert Jeff Quattrocchi. Kids of all ages will enjoy trying to walk across the pool in Rockin’ Rollin’ Bubbles, giant rolling inflatables.

There will also be hands-on sessions on fishing, repairing motors, boat maintenance and sailing.

Admission is $12 for adults, children ages 15 and younger get in free when accompanied by an adult. Buy tickets and find out more at
