Over the weekend, the winter storm approaching Georgia was forecast to blanket areas south of Atlanta. But now meteorologists are predicting snow from Downtown Atlanta into central Georgia beginning Tuesday, according to a report from CBS Atlanta.

Snow flurries will start by midday Tuesday, with snow showers by the evening rush hour. More snow is likely overnight Tuesday into Wednesday.

Of course, snow and ice predictions never seem to be completely on target, but now might be the time to think about stocking up on essentials, filling up your gas tank and figuring out how to keep the kids busy if school is cancelled. Try to leave some milk and bread on the supermarket shelves for the rest of us.
