Brookhaven and Dunwoody city offices closed early today, Jan. 28, due to inclement weather. DeKalb County offices were scheduled to close at 2 p.m.

The Brookhaven City Council work session and regular meeting scheduled for Jan. 28 also were cancelled. According to an email from city officials, the meetings will be rescheduled at a later date.

Dunwoody city officials said in an email they expected to reopen city offices on Wednesday, Jan. 29.

A DeKalb County rezoning meeting scheduled for tonight,  Jan. 28 at the Maloof Auditorium at 6:30 p.m. has been cancelled due to the weather, the county announced.  All items on the agenda will be rescheduled to Feb. 25, 2014, at 6:30 p.m.  DeKalb County will advertise the rescheduled meeting in the next issue of the county’s legal organ.

DeKalb closings include county parks and recreation facilities, senior centers, Recorders Court, water billing offices and all after-hours business meetings.  Public Safety and Public Works will continue 24-hour operation as long as circumstances warrant.  County offices were scheduled to open at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29.
