DeKalb sanitation officials plan to resume garbage collection Friday, Feb. 14, on a modified schedule, county officials said.

Residential customers with garbage pickups scheduled for Tuesday will have collections Friday, according to a release from DeKalb County Commissioner Jeff Rader. Regular Thursday collections will be done Saturday and Friday garbage  collection will be done on Sunday, Rader said.

There will be no Single Stream or Yard Trimmings Recycling collections Friday, Saturday and Sunday this week.

Meanwhile, the city of Dunwoody’s offices will open Friday, Feb. 14, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the city announced. Brookhaven also planned to open city offices at 10 a.m. Feb. 14, the city announced on its website.
