Police-sirens-and-lightsAtlanta and Decatur police are investigating a string of burglaries possibly being committed by the same group of men. As we reported on Friday (read story at this link), police are encouraging residents to be vigilant for unexpected knocks at the door, unknown vehicles in the neighborhood or strangers on their property.

On Friday, Feb. 14, there were two additional burglaries reported to the Atlanta Police Department: one on Tupelo Street between 9 a.m an 4 p.m. and one in the 2700 block of Hosea L. Williams Boulevard between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. A neighbor of the victim of the burglary on Hosea L. Williams Boulevard later reported seeing a white SUV near the victim’s residence. A community member has since reported seeing a white Chevrolet Tahoe displaying GA tag PDI4825 in the 3rd Avenue area. This is one digit off from what was previously provided and appears to be the correct tag number. Please continue to look out for this vehicle and call police immediately if you see it in the area.
