Woodland Elementary is hosting a mystery dinner and silent auction March 8 to help finance the school’s efforts to become a certified science, technology and math, or STEM, school.

The event will include a silent auction, dinner and entertainment. It will be held at the The Retreat at Perimeter Summit. It is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. and continue until 10:30 p.m. Tickets are priced at $50 apiece.

“We have embarked on a challenging voyage to become a STEM-certified school. The STEM-literate student is not only an innovator and critical thinker, but one able to make meaningful connections between school, community, work and global issues. We want to build a world-class school where all of our students have the best tools to achieve in a loving and safe environment, ” STEM parent liaison Gina Gill wrote in an email.
