Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed (who, by the way, just announced his engagement to Sarah-Elizabeth Langford along with news that they are expecting a child) told Saporta Report that the multimodal passenger terminal in Downtown Atlanta isn’t happening anytime soon. There was plenty of buzz about the project in March when a GDOT-comissioned video of what the terminal might look like popped up online (it’s since been removed). “You’ve never heard me talk about multimodal. I don’t believe there’s the will to achieve it,” Reed said.
