Students graduating from Georgia State University on Saturday will protest the college’s decision to sell the daytime air rights to student-run radio station Album 88 (WRAS-FM/88.5) to Georgia Public Broadcasting during commencement ceremonies.

Former GSU student newspaper editor Chris Shattuck, who has helped organize the SaveWRAS campaign, said students are being asked to decorate their caps in support of Album 88 during graduation ceremonies. Volunteers will be on hand outside the Georgia Dome to distribute WRAS-branded stickers to graduates prior to the commencement to attach to their caps, and homemade caps are also encouraged.

Shattuck said photos will be taken after commencement to share on social media using the hashtag #SaveWRAS, which has already gone viral with thousands of tweets and Instagram messages.
