BeltlinePlayDay21-500x281Play Day on the Atlanta BeltLine – hosted by Atlanta ContactPoint and featuring special performances from the Atlanta Jazz Festival – is set for May 17, from 1 to 7 p.m. at Washington Park, 102 Ollie St.

This free day of actives and events will include sports, fit­ness, nutrition, education, arts, and sus­tain­able ini­tia­tives where local coaches and orga­ni­za­tions come together to facil­i­tate activ­i­ties, drills and games for var­i­ous sports for adults and children.

The park’s natatorium will be utilized for swimming, water aerobics, and water polo and the  tennis center for adult/kid tennis classes and roller hockey. There will also be softball, kickball, flag football, ultimate, golf, lacrosse, soccer, rugby and dodgeball on the athletic fields. The park’s greenspace will have fitness classes and an “imagination playground” for children as well as performance in conjunction with the Atlanta Jazz Festival. King of Pops will be on had with sweet treats.
