Dunwoody officials say the Perimeter Center area is different enough from other parts of the city so it should have its own zoning district.
On May 12, City Council members took the first step toward drawing up a separate zoning district for the Perimeter area when city staff members recommended hiring Duncan Associates, the firm that helped develop the city’s new zoning and development codes, to work on the Perimeter zoning plan. The company, the sole bidder for the job, would be paid $98,200 for the job.
