A man sought in connection with bank robberies in Sandy Springs, Alpharetta, Atlanta and Gwinnett County has been arrested, Sandy Springs police said.

Peter McCutcheon was arrested by the Chamblee Police Department on June 2 on criminal trespass charges, Sandy Springs police said in a press release.

McCutcheon gave Chamblee police a phony name, but was identified by teh U.S. Marshal’s Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, the press release said. McCutcheon was interviewed by Sandy Springs detectives and then taken to the Fulton County Jail, SSPD said.
