The promoters of Atlanta Soccerfest 2014 say they hope to bring together the largest World Cup viewing party in the Southeast at Brookhaven Park on Sunday, June 22.
Participants will be able to watch World Cup soccer matches on a large-screen TV, according to the organization’s website. At noon, Russia takes on Belgium; at 3 p.m., South Korea meets Algeria; and at 6 p.m. the U.S. plays Portugal, the website says.
In addition to the games, the event will offer food trucks, a kid’s play area, a soccer arcade and a 5-kilometer road race and 1-mile run, according to the organization’s website. The race begins at 8 a.m.
All events will be at Brookhaven Park, 4158 Peachtree Rd.NE. Admission is free.
