Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens has announced that his office will defend the state’s 2004 same-sex marriage ban, according to a report in The GA Voice. The announcement was made via a brief Olens’ office filed in response to Lambda Legal’s federal class action suit challenging the ban.

Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines said it has suspended service to Israel’s main airport in Tel Aviv until further notice after reports of rocket fire near the airport, according to a report in the AJC. The suspension comes as fighting between Israel and Hamas continues. American and US Airways have also suspended flights.

Omni Hotel at CNN Center is partnering with the College Football Hall of Fame to distribute free hot dogs at various spots across Atlanta in celebration of National Hot Dog Day on Wednesday, July 23. As the official caterer for the hall (opening Aug. 23), the hotel will showcase the offerings at its new concession stand at the attraction. Guests who visit the cart and share the hashtags #FreeOmniFranks and #CFBHall on social media will receive a complimentary hot dog. The branded hot dog cart will make an appearance at three locations throughout the day: Inside CNN Center from 11 a.m. to noon; corner of Andrew Young International Boulevard and Marietta Street from 1 to 2 p.m. and the corner of 12th and Peachtree in Midtown from 3 to 4 p.m.
