The Atlanta Police Department is searching for two suspects who beat a woman and then stole her car at Phipps Plaza in Buckhead overnight. According to the incident report, the victim was leaving Twist restaurant just before midnight when she was assaulted by two men who threatened to shoot her if she she didn’t hand over the keys to her silver 2007 BMW 5 Series (Georgia tag BLA 8978). The victim was beaten for two minutes, according to the police report, before the men took her keys and purse and drove away in the car. The plane carrying Nancy Writebol, a missionary infected with Ebola in Africa, is on its way to Atlanta, according to a report from CBS46. Writebol will be the second Ebola patient brought to Emory University Hospital for treatment.

A new season of the hit cooking competition show Top Chef begins this Wednesday at 10 p.m. and will feature Intown alums including Gunshow’s Kevin Gillespie, Richard Blais of FLIP Burger and The Spence, and Art Smith of Southern Art and Bourbon Bar. Empire State South’s Hugh Acheson will serve as a guest judge, according to a post at  Eater.
