A Stone Mountain woman and a Doraville man are in DeKalb County Jail on burglary charges after Dunwoody police officers arrested them Aug. 6.

Christopher Thomas, 23, of Doraville, was arrested after police responded to a 911 call about a burglary in progress in the 2700 block of Fontainebleau Drive, police said. Thomas was arrested near the house, police said.

Chantel Fontaine, 34, of Stone Mountain, was arrested after she drove away in a silver Chevy Tahoe and ran into a fence in the 2300 block of Spalding Drive, spokesman Timothy Fecht said.

Both Thomas and Fontaine are in custody at the DeKalb County Jail on misdemeanor burglary charges. Fontaine also was charged with reckless driving and a felony count of attempting to elude police. Bond is set at $500 for each.
