Sandy Springs’ city council will hold a special called meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 27, at 6 p.m. to discuss planning for the City Center. The council will receive status updates on site planning, park and open space, the proposed performing arts center, retail and budget.

The meeting will include briefings before the council and an opportunity for the public to provide feedback for each topic segment. Community members wishing to comment will be asked to submit speaker cards in advance of the meeting start, with 10 minutes allocated for public comment for each discussion topic.

The meeting will be held at Sandy Springs City Hall, 7840 Roswell Road, Building 500.
