Tim Nama had announced Aug. 5 his intention to run, and had to resign his post as chairman of Brookhaven’s Board of Zoning Appeals. John Park, a long-time Ashford Park resident, had also previously announced his intention to run.
Qualifying continues Aug. 20 and 21 at Brookhaven City Hall, 4362 Peachtree Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Cost to qualify is $360, 3 percent of the gross salary of the previous year.
