Freedom Parkway Path sketchThe Atlanta Police Department has released a sketch of the suspect wanted in an assault on the Freedom Parkway Path in Candler Park around 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 11.

Pearl Ryder was jogging the path along North Avenue when a white male jumped out of the wood line and began running behind her. She yelled at the individual and he reached out as if to grab her. Ryder shouted louder and the individual fled back into the wood line.

Any information on the case can also be submitted anonymously to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at (404) 577-8477, online at crimestoppersatlanta.org or by texting CSA and the tip to CRIMES (274637). Persons do not have to give their name or any identifying information to be eligible for the reward of up to $2,000 for the arrest and indictment of the suspects.
