About 25 cars were broken into early Monday at a southeast Atlanta apartment complex hit by similar thefts just two weeks ago. According to the AJC, the break-ins were reported shortly after 4 a.m. in the parking lot of the Glenwood East complex on Stovall Street off Moreland Avenue. Residents said there have been multiple car break-ins over the summer. This time, thieves made off with an iPad, money and shoes.

The Atlanta Police are considering installing cameras around Peace Park in the Old Fourth Ward after an increase in violence and drug activity. Located off Boulevard on Wabash at Peace Avenue, the park was the scene of a shooting last week and, according to a report from  WSB, drug deals and gunshots are now a daily occurrence.

Atlanta City Councilman Michael Julian Bond’s spending habits have been called into question again by 11 Alive, which broke the story of Bond’s trips on the taxpayer dime a few weeks ago. It seems Bond just took a trip to Boston to attend a “class reunion” for a leadership course he took at Harvard in 2011.
