Sandy Springs Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Thursday at 5 p.m. The robbery occurred at the America’s Mail Center located in the Abernathy Square Shopping Center, located at 6595 Roswell Road. A man and woman both armed with handguns entered the location, jumped over the counter and assaulted two employees.

Both victims were tied up and placed inside a restroom. The suspects stole an undisclosed amount of money and then fled the location. It is undetermined if the suspects were on foot or in a vehicle.
The first suspect was described as a black male wearing a black t-shirt and cargo pants either green or khaki in color. The female suspect was described as wearing a black shirt with three-quarters length sleeves, short spandex shorts and a black, pink and red baseball cap. Specifically, the female’s ball cap was black on the front and pink with red on the back.
