A former Turner Broadcasting Co. marketing manager has been named executive director of Sandy Springs Hospitality and Tourism, the city of Sandy Springs announced Oct. 23. Jennifer Cruce begins work at the tourism promotion agency on Nov. 10.
At Turner, Cruce worked as senior marketing manager for Turner Broadcasting/Inside CNN Studio Tours, where she directed branding and marketing strategies, the city said. She also has worked with theGeorgia Department of Industry, Trade and Tourism’s Film, Videotape and Music Office, promoting Georgia as a location for filming, the city said.
“Jennifer’s background as a strategic marketer makes her well suited to lead our Hospitality and Tourism marketing efforts,” Sandy Springs Mayor Rusty Paul said in a press release.
Sandy Springs Hospitality and Tourism is a nonprofit that promotes tourism in Sandy Springs. It is funded by the city’s hotel/motel tax.
