Say Vegas, and what comes to mind? Elvis, quickie marriages and games of chance. All three showed up on Oct. 25 for North Springs Charter High School 51st Anniversary Homecoming Parade, which stepped off at Woodland Elementary. This years theme: “Viva Las Vegas.” Anne Stegan, left below, and Alexandra Hernandez, members of Woodland Elementary’s PTA, portrayed the bride and groom. Philip Floor, a third grade teacher at Woodland shown in the center photo, made sure the King put in an appearance. And first grader Arihanna Schultz (dressed as the five of diamonds) and kindergartener Leah Arouh (dressed as a die), at bottom,rounded out the Vegas trifecta.
