The city of Sandy Springs is hosting a Veterans Day tribute Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 11:30 a.m. at the Concourse.

Mayor Rusty Paul will emcee the event that will feature a keynote address by former U.S. Army Captain Jack Solomon, who graduated from West Point in 1957, and was commissioned a 2nd Lt. of Artillery. He served 12 years in the United States Army in various command and staff positions.

Other participants include the North Springs Charter High School JROTC Honor Guard and special music by Sandy Springs Fire Rescue Capt. Mark Ware and Lt. Rodney Brooks of the Henry County Fire Department.

The event is free and open to the public, with parking  available in Concourse parking deck six.
