Brookhaven Police arrested an East Point man in connection with an entering auto that took place near Brixworth Place on Nov. 19, police say.

Keichez Colton, 22, was standing next to a parked car and he fled when he saw officers, police spokesman Carlos Nino wrote in a press release.

A second unidentified man, wearing a red hoodie with a grey sweatshirt or jacket over it, also fled, Nino wrote. When police caught Colton, he had in his possession a GPS, gloves and entering auto tools. He had an active warrant for aggravated assault and for probation violation, and was charged with theft by receiving stolen auto, giving a false name and date of birth, and loitering and prowling.

Anyone with information leading to the identification of the second unidentified male is asked to contact the Brookhaven Police Department at 404-637-0600.
