A Sandy Springs tradition for some 20 years, the Riverwood baseball team will open its Christmas tree lot the day after Thanksgiving with fresh Fraser firs. While many trees were pre-ordered, plenty will be available for walk-up sales, according to a press release from the school. Baseball team members will also offer delivery for a small fee within a 10-mile radius of the school.
The tree lot opening is Friday, Nov. 28, and it closes Sunday evening, Dec. 7. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on opening day, Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sundays from noon to 6 p.m., and 4 to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday.
The Lady Raider softball program will also be at the site selling wreaths in three sizes: 16″, 25″ and 30″.
The tree lot is located behind the high school, between the football and baseball fields, at 5900 Raider Drive. For more information, visit RiverwoodAthletics.org.
