Two Dunwoody teenagers were arrested and charged with three felony counts of armed robbery on Dec. 18, police say.
Jamie Leonardo Trevino, 17, is also charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a pistol under the age of 21, which is a misdemeanor.
Timothy Fecht, a spokesman for Dunwoody Police, said between Dec. 14 and 16, two people committed three armed robberies of taxi cab drivers by calling for their services, and then robbing the drivers as they arrived at Peachtree Place North Apartments. During the crimes, the two assaulted a pregnant female driver and fired a bullet at another driver, Fecht said, adding that no injuries were reported.
“The suspects were targeting Hispanic taxi companies,” Fecht said in a press release.
