Glenridge Hall, built in 1929, is included on the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation’s 2015 list of “places in peril.”

Commercial real estate business website Bisnow is reporting that Glenridge Hall is under contract.

According to the report, which cited unnamed sources, the historic Sandy Springs mansion and the 76 acres it sits on near Abernathy Road and Ga. 400 is being eyed by Ashton Woods, an Atlanta home developer.

The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation recently named the site as one of the state’s top 10 “places in perils,” saying it was concerned that the 1929 estate, up for sale, would be purchased and razed by developers.
