Ison Springs Elementary School was placed on lockdown Thursday after a child was threatened, according to WSBTV.
A mother at the school told police that she received a call from her husband, a convicted murderer, in which he said he would kill her and her daughter, a student at the school.
The school remained on lockdown until it let out for the day.
