Armed robbery suspects captured on surveillance at Delia’s Chicken Sausage Stand.

Atlanta Police investigators are continuing to search for the suspects who robbed Delia’s Chicken Sausage Stand on Moreland Avenue in East Atlanta. The incident occurred Jan. 9 at 11 p.m. Two males armed with a rifle and pistol robbed the popular dining spot. The suspects are described as a black male armed with a rifle, in his 20’s, average build, beard and mustache, wearing a dark blue hoodie with a design on the back, black cargo pants and black shoes/boots. The second suspect is a black male armed with a dark colored pistol, wearing a gray hoodie under a black leather jacket. The Atlanta Police Department has trained more than 100 officers in the Zone 1 area of Atlanta in the use of Naloxone, commonly referred to as Narcan. Atlanta Police Officers will carry the nasal form of Narcan which is a drug that can reverse a heroin or opiate overdose instantly. Fulton County, which includes Atlanta, has seen the biggest increase in the metropolitan area. Heroin deaths rose from 24 to 31 from 2012 to 2013. In the City of Atlanta there were more than 25 deaths in 2014.

Atlanta Police responded to a fight call at the W Hotel in Midtown involving family members of R&B singer Bobby Brown. The Brown family and those of his late wife, Whitney Houston, have gathered after their daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, was found unconscious in a bathtub on Feb. 2 at her Roswell home. Bobbi Kristina is receiving treatment at Emory University Hospital. According to police, Brown’s sister, Tina, smashed a bottle over a cousin’s head after a verbal altercation at dinner.
