The winner of HGTV’s 2014 Urban Oasis contest opted not to move into the luxe condo on the 53rd floor of Buckhead’s The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, so now it’s on the market for $1.7 million.

The 2,091-square-foot condo was professionally decorated by interior designer Lindsay Pumpa. The residence is being sold fully furnished, turn-key. The property has been co-listed by Sally Westmoreland and Ed Woods of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Intown office.

Viewers of the HGTV program and those who tracked the progress of this property will recall many of its highlights including modern lighting, walls of windows, rich hardwood flooring, custom cabinetry, high-end furnishings and exceptional views spanning from downtown Atlanta to Kennesaw Mountain and beyond.

  1. I would imagine that the majority of HGTV Dream Home winners cant afford to pay the federal taxes on their prize as well as the upkeep on the home.

  2. It must be very difficult if not impossible for most people to pay all the taxes due on such a large prize. Unlike winning the lottery, how would they raise the cash?
