Time is running out for the proposed cities of LaVista Hills and Tucker as the deadline to introduce bills to move them forward draws near.

Decaturish reports that finding a representative to introduce the legislation is hampering efforts to move the cityhood efforts at the Gold Dome.

Any cityhood legislation has to be introduced in one chamber of the legislature by March 13, known as Crossover Day. In addition to LaVista Hills and Tucker, there are cityhood movements in South DeKalb for Greenhaven and Stonecrest.
