People attending the Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival are encouraged to take MARTA transportation to the event March 27-29 in Blackburn Park, 3493 Ashford Dunwoody Road.

The Brookhaven/Oglethorpe MARTA Station (Gold Line) at 4047 Peachtree Road and the Medical Center MARTA Station (Red Line) are the closest stations to the festival, each less than four miles away.

Once you arrive at either station, there are several options for transportation to Blackburn Park:

–        Free festival shuttle (ONLY from the Brookhaven/Oglethorpe Station)

–        Cab service

–        MARTA Route Bus 25 (please check weekend schedule at www.itsmarta.com)

–        Uber smart phone app.  Use BrookhavenCherry promo code for discount (first time users only)

The festival shuttle will run in a north/south loop regularly between the Brookhaven MARTA Station (4 miles south of park), Blackburn Park, and the parking lot of the State Farm Operations Center at 4151 Ashford Dunwoody Road (3 miles north of park).

As part of this loop, the shuttles will also drop off/pick up at the Marist School (3790 Ashford Dunwoody Road); and St. Martin’s Episcopal Church/School (3110 Ashford Dunwoody Road).  Parking at Marist is restricted to one area, so please follow signs.  Parking at St. Martin’s is only available on Friday (all day) and Sunday (after 1 p.m.).  No Saturday parking at St. Martin’s.

There is limited public parking in the park itself, and that will likely fill up first.
