Brookhaven city officials say professionals working on a Murphey Candler-Nancy Creek watershed plan for the city will be wandering various streams and creeks in coming months. The city is asking residents to support the contractors from Sustainable Water Planning & Engineering in their work.

When completed, the study “will assist the city in securing grant funds for the projects, programs and policies that are identified in the plan to improve watershed health and minimize flooding,” the city says.
