A Decatur resident is missing in Nepal after this weekend’s devastating earthquake, according to the AJC. Marty Emanuel, 71, is on a trekking expedition and last reported that he was in the Langtang National Park area north of Kathmandu.

Breakfast spot Home Grown on Memorial Drive opened for business this morning after a car plowed into the restaurant early Sunday morning. According to Fox 5, the woman driving the car said she swerved to miss another car. Home Grown posted this message on its Facebook page this morning:  “One little hole in our wall ain’t gonna stop us from making Comfy Chicken Biscuits, all we need is y’all to come in and eat them!”

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream has closed its stores and recalled retail products sold at Target and Fresh Market due to concerns over listeria, according to a report in the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Jeni’s has locations in Decatur, Krog Street Market and Westside Provisions.
