885617_10153329809046788_7421021571347540955_oThroughout June, all dogs and cats six months and over may be adopted for free at any of LifeLine Animal Project’s shelters, including DeKalb County Animal Services (DCAS), Fulton County Animal Services (FCAS), LifeLine’s Dog House and Kitty Motel and LifeLine’s Cat Adoption Center. All dogs must weigh at least 25 lbs. to qualify for this special.

Adopters will receive a dog or cat that has been spayed or neutered, has had all vaccines and is microchipped – a $250 value – for no cost. Adoption counselors will be on hand to ensure the animals are being placed in good homes.

“With summer here, twice as many animals are coming into the shelters as usual, and free adoptions tend to create a buzz of excitement and bring more people into shelters,” LifeLine Animal Project CEO Rebecca Guinn said.
