DeKalb County Interim CEO Lee May plans a series of “town hall” meetings to meeting with residents and to discuss the new county budget and the start of once-a-week garbage pickup.

May plans to hold meetings in both Brookhaven and Dunwoody, the county said in a press release June 4.

The first of the eight meetings scheduled across the county will be held in Tucker on June 8. That meeting is scheduled for the Reid H. Cofer Library, 5234 Lavista Road, from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Meetings also are set for June 10 at Dunwoody City Hall, 41 Perimeter East, in Dunwoody, and for June 22 at Brookhaven City Hall, 4362 Peachtree Road, in Brookhaven. Those gatherings are scheduled from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
