Sandy Springs city officials plan a pair of meetings next week to show the public what the planned City Center will look like.

City Council plans a special meeting June 16 and a second public meeting is scheduled for June 18. During the meetings, the city’s design team will present plans showing landscaping and green space at the center, architecture of the buildings and project timelines, the city said in a press release on June 11.

“We received feedback from more than 1,000 individuals, significant participation across a broad cross section of the community.  While design is driven by personal tastes and style, our goal is to have City Center reflective of the community’s collective personality – conveying the strength, optimism, and gracious style of our community in a manner unique to Sandy Springs,” Sandy Springs Mayor Rusty Paul said in the release.

The June 16 meeting is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. at City Hall, 7840 Roswell Road, Building 500. The June 18 meeting is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. at Heritage Sandy Springs, 6110 Blue Stone Road.
