Midtown Alliance’s public safety program, Midtown Blue, has created the Midtown Public Safety Patrol, a new team of a half-dozen specially-trained officers who provide extra eyes and ears throughout the district. Navigating the district on Segways, by bicycle and on foot, the Midtown Public Safety Patrol serves the needs of Midtown residents, businesses, and commercial property owners in multiple ways. The officers check in with area business owners, watch for illegally-parked vehicles creating traffic snarls, and more. The new patrol members are easy to spot thanks to their distinctive bright blue uniforms.
