The most recent versions of the Perimeter Center Zoning Projects have been released and will be discussed at the Aug. 2 meeting of the Dunwoody Homeowners Association at 7:30 p.m. and by Dunwoody City Council at a special called meeting in the CM Conference Room on Aug. 3 at 6 p.m.

Also, during the Aug. 2 meeting, Lonnie Moss, developer for Cypress Communities, will present a revised plan for condos on Dunwoody Village Parkway to include 30 percent of the units with ‘masters-on-the-main.’

Dunwoody City Council at its June 9 meeting delayed further development in the DVP area until a definition of “senior housing” could be set.

Council members said they were not happy with Cypress Communities’ plans.

“The developer stood in front of us at the last meeting and when we asked about a master bedroom and bath combo on the first floor, he said, ‘No, that would not happen,’” Councilman Denis Shortal said June 9. “That throws a red flag.”

The DHA meets at the DeKalb Cultural Arts Center (Room 4), located at 5339 Chamblee-Dunwoody Road in Dunwoody.
