The city of Brookhaven will hold the second public meeting for its Bicycle, Pedestrian and Trail Plan on Wed., Sept. 30, at the Lynwood Park Community Center.

The planning effort, slated to conclude next year, will create a vision for a trail network. This is the second of three public meetings in the process, which also includes an analysis of existing conditions, a determination of future needs and an implementation plan.

The Sept. 30 meeting will begin with an open house at 6-6:30 p.m., where initial recommendations will be on view. A presentation about the plan runs 6:30-7 p.m. Then an “interactive exercise” for public input runs 7-8 p.m.

The community center is at 3360 Osborne Road. For more details about the trail plan, see the city’s website.
