Atlanta Police Department investigators are continuing to gather information regarding a string of robberies having taken place in the city in less than a month. Officer Ralph Woolfolk described the five suspects as a “violent robbing crew” and that a reward is being offered for information that leads to arrests.

Starting on Sept. 18, the crew has hit a Wendy’s on University Avenue, McDonald’s on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Chevron on on Headland Drive, the Texaco on 14th Street, an Exxon on Peachtree Street, the AutoZone on Donald Lee Howell Parkway and the most recent on Oct. 6 at Buddy’s on North Avenue in Poncey-Highland.

Any information on the case can be submitted anonymously to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at (404) 577-8477, online www.crimestoppersatlanta.org or by texting CSA and the tip to CRIMES (274637). Persons do not have to give their name or any identifying information to be eligible for the reward of up to $2,000 for the arrest and indictment of the suspects.
