The OK Cafe won’t be open Monday, but the fire damage restoration is almost complete and the restaurant may open by mid-week, the AJC reports.

OK Cafe co-owner Richard Lewis said the restaurant has a few more finishing touches to add before the Buckhead landmark, is ready to resume serving up fried jalapeno cheese grits or buttermilk griddle cake with granny smith apples and pecans.

The restaurant, at the corner of Northside Parkway and West Paces Ferry Road, was damaged by a fire in December.
