Kelvin Stone, 19, of Atlanta, was arrested in Sandy Springs Oct. 10 and charged with entering auto and aggravated assault.

Sandy Springs Police have charged six young men from Atlanta with 14 counts of entering auto.

Kelvin Stone, 19, was also charged with aggravated assault. Anthony O’Neal, 20, Kelvin Stone,19, Marcus Palmer, 17, Jamarcus Purnell, 17, Jawaski Caston, 17, and Antwon Palmer, 17, were arrested shortly before 3 a.m. on Oct. 10.

Police say the suspects drove into a secured parking deck at the Indigo House Apartments, located at 111 Glenridge Point, and broke into a number of parked vehicles.

The men were confronted by officers while driving a stolen Mercedes SUV inside the parking deck, department spokesman Ron Momon said in a press release.

“They exited the vehicle and fled on foot,” Momon wrote. “One suspect injured his leg and head after jumping from the second level of the parking deck.”

All six suspects were apprehended after a short foot pursuit and transported to the Fulton County Jail.
